Olena123
Hello. I am worried about seo + attributes on my presta 8 site. My product has two attributes, so I have two different links: domain.com/microsoft/815-2061-microsoft-office-2021.html#/33-box domain.com/microsoft/815-2062-microsoft-office-2021.html#/35-esd The canonical link is: domain.com.ua/microsoft/815-microsoft-office-2021.html The differents is not only in part after #, but also in ids. The problem is than link to this product from category is domain.com/microsoft/815-2061-microsoft-office-2021.html#/33-box I think for best seo it shoud be a canonical link, but instead I have a link to my main attribute, than is not canonical. And all links from my home page to important products are not canonical too. It is ok? Do you have the same situation? Can I fix this some how? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nickz
Without a domain name everything else is guesswork. Are your Products indexed? Does your shop rank for the products?
Olena123
Domain name is software.com.ua. The products are indexed by canonical links, but the rankings are not very good.
Nickz
Have you tried to use seo URLS? For SEO ist doesn't mater how the URL looks like.
Olena123
Quote Have you tried to use seo URLS? I'm not sure what exactly do you mean? Presta set's up the main canonical url for product page: domain.com.ua/microsoft/815-microsoft-office-2021.html but within the site this link does not appear. On the main page there is a non-canonical link with attributes: domain.com/microsoft/815-2061-microsoft-office-2021.html#/33-box Isn't that really bad for SEO? Shambola
I'm pretty sure if you try your url here : https://technicalseo.com/tools/hreflang/ it will reply to you that it is not indexable just because it lacks self-referencing. Which is "obvious": the declared canonical is different from the url itself.... I think the attribute should be removed from the url's schema {category:/}{id}{-:id_product_attribute}-{rewrite}{-:ean13}.html But I'm still working on it, I'm not very sure.
