404 but it works

On my website there is a page with a link to another site. The page and the link works perfect, but there always is the smiley with the error 404. But why? How can I remove this?

Hello, are we talking about that page being a category? If it is a category, will you not show any products?
So why not use the pages or cms option?

yes it's a category without products. The products can be looked by clicking on the link. Will it be gone if I add one product?
