Difficulty in Implementing Custom Payment Gateway Integration on PrestaShop

I'm encountering challenges integrating a custom payment gateway into my PrestaShop capcut website. Despite following the documentation provided by the payment gateway provider meticulously, I'm unable to get the integration to function correctly.

Here are some specifics about the issue I'm facing:

Integration Code: I've implemented the required code snippets provided by the payment gateway into PrestaShop, but the checkout process doesn't seem to trigger the expected functionalities.

Error Messages: During testing, I'm consistently encountering error messages such as "Payment Gateway Unavailable" or "Transaction Failed," which doesn't provide clear insights into the root cause of the problem.

Debugging Attempts: I've thoroughly reviewed my integration code, rechecked the API credentials, and cross-verified the necessary configurations multiple times. Despite this, the payment gateway doesn't seem to be communicating properly with my PrestaShop store.

Compatibility Concerns: Could there be any compatibility issues between the payment gateway and PrestaShop versions? I'm using [PrestaShop version 8.1.2] and the documentation suggests it should be compatible.

I'd greatly appreciate any insights, suggestions, or troubleshooting steps that can help resolve this issue and successfully integrate this custom payment gateway into my capcut pro apk website. Moreover, if you are into capcut video editing then you must know that capprocutapk is providing mod version of the capcut app. If anyone has encountered similar challenges or has successfully implemented a custom payment gateway, your guidance would be incredibly valuable.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Hi,

It sounds like you've done a lot of work to get this payment gateway integrated, but you're still running into some issues. Here are a few steps that might help:

Double-Check API Credentials: Make sure that the API credentials you're using (like keys or tokens) are correct. Even a small mistake here can cause errors.

Review Error Logs: Check your PrestaShop error logs or the logs provided by the payment gateway. These logs can sometimes give you more detailed information about what's going wrong.

Test in Different Modes: Some payment gateways have a test mode and a live mode. Ensure you’re testing in the correct mode and switch to live mode once everything is working.

Check for Compatibility Issues: You mentioned using PrestaShop version 8.1.2. Confirm that the payment gateway supports this version. Sometimes even minor version differences can cause issues.

Clear Cache: Try clearing your PrestaShop cache after making changes. Sometimes, old data can cause issues with new settings.

Contact Support: If you’re still stuck, it might be worth reaching out to the payment gateway's support team. They can often provide specific guidance based on the error messages you're seeing.

Hopefully, these steps will help you get the payment gateway working correctly. Good luck!
