what is prestashop last version

Hi dear friends,

I'm confused about the new version numbers. Currently, I have version 1.7.8.2. I noticed that after 1.7.8.10, the version jumps to 8.0.4.(what does  this jump mean?)  However, in my back office, I see that version 1.7.8.11 is the one available for upgrade. Why isn't version 1.7.8.11 listed on the versions page? I don't understand this discrepancy.

I am currently using version 1.7.8.2. What is the latest stable version that I can upgrade to?

Its a 1.7.8.11 version. ( released last week ). Its a minor release, so isn't listed yet on official.

Last stable prestashop version is 8.1.3 you can check it on github: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/releases

i have myshop on 1.7.8.2 . do you suggest me to update to 8.1.3  ?

First make sure your theme and modules are compatible. Always try the upgrade on an test instance first and take backups before doing it on live server.

can you give me a hint how to upgrade manually on an test instance ?
