Pages doesn't work...

Hi guys...

i've a problem with a prestashop's website..

Why the pages under logo doesn't work?
Authentication's page too...

I can't log-in or do other in the front office..

looks like there's an error in a tpl file, turn on error reporting (/config/config.inc.php line #29) and reload the page, you should see an error with filename and line number.

Edit /web/htdocs/www.bottegastregata.it/home/themes/ex-blue-1/authentication.tpl
on line 2 change

{include file=$tpl_dir./breadcrumb.tpl}

to

{include file="$tpl_dir./breadcrumb.tpl"}

with 1.3.7 prestashop version looks great..

The new Prestashop (1.4) is using Smarty 3 which is more strict.

So.. i've installed on the same domain.. a version 1.3.7 and a 1.4

Now.. Some questions..

in the root directory: www.bottegastregata.it there is 1.4 prestashop cms. Moreover here: www.bottegastregata.it/version/ there is 1.3.7 version.

On the 1.3.7 all pages works great (but i don't know how to edit the top of page.. i mean for example, how to remove the block with currency valute € $... or how to edit follow link on the top: Contact Sitemap Preferiti )

On the 1.4 i've just made many changes in the .tpl file, adding " or ' . Now the contact and the login page works ( http://www.bottegastregata.it/version/contact-form.php ) ... But something doesn't work correctly (for example: http://www.bottegastregata.it/category.php ) and the product page.. it show this error that i don't know how to fix: http://www.bottegastregata.it/product.php?id_product=10

What to do?
Think you to use 1.3.7 or 1.4 ?

On 1.3.7 looks more stable the theme. But i don't know how to make some changes... :S help me.. :S really apprecciated.. Thank you! :S

It looks like the theme is not very compatible.

You can turn on Smarty 2 compatibility in the backoffice->Preferences page (at the bottom).

PS 1.4 is much better, and you should stick with that, maybe try to get a theme that is compatible with PS 1.4

uhuu.. i found solution... just edit the files in the module directory: blockpermanentlinks
