jameswill
Hi, I have installed Prestashop 8.1.1 on my test server with PHP 8.1 and Mysql 5.7 The installation went successful. However when I visit the admin panel it shows blank page on "Home" screen and on "Setting" page as well. On turning on debug it throws following error. [1/2] ErrorException ErrorException: Notice: SessionHandler::gc(): ps_files_cleanup_dir: opendir(/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php81) failed: Permission denied (13) at [[path]]/prestashop811/vendor/symfony/symfony/src/Symfony/Component/HttpFoundation/Session/Storage/Handler/StrictSessionHandler.php:116 [2/2] RuntimeException RuntimeException: Failed to start the session: already started by PHP. at [[path]]/prestashop811/vendor/symfony/symfony/src/Symfony/Component/HttpFoundation/Session/Storage/NativeSessionStorage.php:148 What could be the issue ? Also the by default the website stays in maintenance mode ? As I have to enable the site manually in order to see the front page. Are PHP 7.x are not supported anymore ? Because I am not able to install 8.1.1 version on PHP 7.2,7.3,7.4 and 8.0 as well. The script throws "500 Internal Server Error" on PS edition basic module install while manual installation. jameswill
Hello, I am getting the same above error with Prestashop 8.1.2 as well. 'Home' and 'Settings' menu inside the admin panel are blank after visiting them. Also debug logs i.e prod.log inside /var/logs/ show : [DATE] php.INFO: User Deprecated: Not specifying the optional ShopConstraint parameter is deprecated since version 1.7.8.0 {"exception":"[object] (ErrorException(code: 0): User Deprecated: Not specifying the optional ShopConstraint parameter is deprecated since version 1.7.8.0 at /{{PATH}}/{{TO}}/{{PRESTA-SHOP}}/src/Adapter/Configuration.php:427)"} [] Please resolve this. caaptusss
Hello, I am experiencing the same issue on a freshly configured PrestaShop 8.1.5 on Debian 12 with PHP 8.1. Everything is generally working well, but I encounter a white page on the admin dashboard and the settings page. I'm unsure why this is happening. I purchased a theme from the module shop (Volty theme), and overall, it works fine. However, I can't figure out these white pages. I've enabled debug mode, but there are no errors, just warnings about deprecated functions in Symfony. There are no errors in the Apache logs for this vhost or the entire server. Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? If you need more information, logs, or additional data, please let me know how to provide them, and I'll be happy to add them here. Thank you very much for your help.
