Wrong categories of product in backend

Hello, i noticed a strange behaviour when entering in product edit page regarding the category tree list where you can edit it.

 

Some products randomly have some categories that has never been assigned.

 

For example the following product have 4 assigned categories like shown:

 

two of those "adattatori" and "asse / perno" are wrong, they have never been manually assigned to them. The other two are correct "tutti i prodotti" and "cambio posteriore".

 

Now, i have checked directly in database category_product table to see what was the situation and it seem that the product have the right 2 categories assigned:

 

 

I dont understand where the other two comes from. I have also disabled all types of cache and deleted existing cache but nothing changed.

Someone experienced something similar?

Also, other products have the wrong default category associated, this cause the page url to redirect to a different url when i click on "preview" from backend.

Checking for those specific products the product and product_shop tables both have the "correct" default category selected.

No idea. But position 40869 doesn't look healthy either.

Good to know 😀 40869 is actually "all products" the main category called (tutti i prodotti) so this one is ok
