shokinro
it seems that your site redirect sitemap.php to sitemap.xml file.because you sitemap.xml is empty, that why above error happens.please try to stop the redirect or rewrite, let sitemap.php run, it will be ok.for examplehttp://addons-modules.com/sitemap.php

shokinro
By default, it should work as I mentioned in my previous post, you don't have to do anything. What is the version of your PrestaShop?by the way, please also check if the permission for file sitemap.xml is correct 755? shokinro
I think your site problem is at redirecting or URL rewriting. It seems that your redirect sitemap.php to sitemap.xml file.Actually, prestaShop itself it not using sitemap.xml, if you could stop the redirecting or URL rewtite, the problem should be fixed.Check my demo site here http://expresscheckout.dyndns.org:8080/shop1410/sitemap.phpI also have 0 size sitemap.xml

shokinro
I think sitemap.xml is used for search engine like Google.sitemap.php is for human visitor. As I said before, something is wrong at your site that redirect/rewrite the sitemap.php to sitemap.xml
KevinBaker
Figured out how to fix this, it's a bug in the way that URL rewrite is set up by default.Go into your admin panel, then preferences, then SEO & URL. Scroll down to "sitemap" and click the edit button. Change the "friendly url" from sitemap to site-map.Hey presto, it works again!
