teknashop
We have Prestashop stuck at version 1.7.8.9 and are unable to upgrade in any way. The module has been updated to the latest version available. When it opens, it cannot find any version to download from either the 'Major' release or version 1.7.8.10. We have tried the various online solutions but nothing. It seems as if the module cannot communicate with the Prestashop servers in any way. We also thought of a firewall problem. Having the IP numbers to which the module connects we could put them in the "WhiteList" but we can't find anything. Has anyone overcome this problem? ps8modules
Hi. In the module, there is an option to upgrade from an archive stored on ftp. Just download the version from https://prestashop.com/versions/
teknashop
Thank you for your reply. We have tried, but the module still cannot find anything to update. Could you please tell us exactly how to carry out the update and ... what exactly to enter. Thank you
ps8modules
Step 1 Step 2 There is a lot of help on this topic. There is no need for us to give complete instructions to each one separately. Look for complete instructions here on the forum or on the Internet.
teknashop
I thank you but ... it doesn't work. Version 1.7.8.9 also requires an XML file in order to upgrade. After some searching (I don't even remember how) I managed to find the 1.7.8.10 package and the XML file. I put everything in the path /admin/autoupgrade/download/ and the module recognized the files. Once I started the upgrade after a few minutes the operation was blocked. Response from the module, "you have the same version."
ps8modules
So it means that you have already done the upgrade before, but ended up with an error. The files are already overwritten and the Prestashop version is also written in ./app/AppKernel.php It is clear that it cannot upgrade one and the same version. If you change the const VERSION, the upgrade should go smoothly. Edited October 8, 2023 by ps8moduly.cz (see edit history)
teknashop
from AppKernel.php: const VERSION = '1.7.8.9';
