414 ERROR

Recommended Posts

My module has been rejected because the programmer who tested it had an unusually long URL, causing all the Ajax requirements to return a 414 error (URL too long). The result: it doesn't work, it's marked as an error, and it's denied. It's frustrating and quite irritating that individuals without any technical knowledge can disrupt three months of work. I honestly don't know if it was intentional or not. I'm genuinely saddened by PrestaShop and its validation systems. I don't know what to think. Has my module been waiting for 17 days for validation for this?

I have attached a video demonstrating the same functionalities he provided in his test, in hopes of reconsidering the situation, but I don't have much hope. It's futile and infuriating to have programmers validate you who don't even understand what a 414 error is on their servers.

I answer myself, the programmer evaluating the module mentioned it was true (after filing a complaint). However, suddenly, "other errors" appeared that do not show up on my test server. When I asked for even a hint of what was happening (because they are Ajax calls), silence. Nonetheless, he sent me many videos earlier explaining what was wrong (like the 414 error), but I install the module on PrestaShop 8.1.0, and I don't have a single one of those issues. Helplessness. At the very least, if I had access to his server, I could determine if it's true or not, but not even that. I asked him to perform a simple network inspection in the browser to see if there's indeed an error, and still, SILENCE. I can't work under these conditions.
