rmturner
I unactivated Friendly URLS because I kept getting 404 errors. Now footer page links don't work. Is there a way to create static cms pages without activating friendly urls? Thanks.
rmturner
I don't think it's friendly urls. I have two sites, both PS 1.7.8. Both have friendly urls disabled. On one www.collectibleartwear.com, all the footer links work fine. On the broken site, www.elainecoyne.com , all the footer links go to blank white pages. On both sites, the pages are set up the same, friendly urls is not enabled, and the Link List module on both sites is basically set up the same. I'm going to try creating a new test page and see if that works.

rmturner
On both sites they're set to PHP 7.4. I don't really know how long the links haven't worked. I just checked them today.

rmturner
They're both on the same VPS. Same themes. I should have turned on debug mode immediately. I'm not sure where to fix this:

rmturner
Got it. I just rebooted. The links aren't working but I'll clear cache, etc.
musicmaster
"How to Create CMS pages Without Friendly URL Activated?" It depends how you coded your footer. If you entered the friendly urls there there is no way for it to know the original ones. So have a look at the footer module.
rmturner
Good suggestion. I will look at that. Every other page in the footer but the cms pages opens normally, but there may be something in the code about cms pages.
