Bleep
Hi all. I'm trying to reduce the load time of my prestashop website. I was wondering what people have done that has resulted in their store loading faster? I was thinking of deleting the css in the global.css for modules I have no intention of using. Also, I thought about using a utility to compact the css to further reduce the file size. I know that these ideas might only reduce the global.css by 20-30 kb, but every little bit counts. Does anyone else have some ideas to make the store load faster? Will removing unused modules/classes, etc. make the store load faster? Bleep
What do you mean? Yeah, sites load according to the speed of their servers, but the content still has to be loaded by the people viewing the site, and there is a lot of content in prestashop. Just wondering if their are things that can be removed to speed it up for people viewing the site. Thanks for responding TropischBruin Is it not related to you webserver? Guest
Kindly check those points with your host first:1) server load...2) your server's networks port speed ( 10Mbps, 100Mbps or 1Gbps... )
