Same import file, same webhosting company/settings problem when importing

I've got a PS1.7.8.9 site which I set up 5 years ago and I've been upgrading it up to now. I've got one clean PS8 too, both are in the same webhosting company and they have same php configuration. When I try to import in my old shop I got the message "Technical error: Unexpected response returned by server. Import stopped". On the other hand, the same file can be imported in the PS8 shop, without any problem.

Dev tools report an invalid token ring.

Any help will be highly appreciated

I've just updated my PS1.7.8.9 to 8.1.0 and now it works
