PHP version

Hello. I have a question, I don't know what to do at this point anymore.

My shop is not working anymore because my provider don't use older PHP versions anymore. Only PHP 8 or above. I can't acces the backoffice anymore only the SFTP. What is the best solution for me from now on?

hello, you have 2 outputs
- you update your prestashop to version 8 that is compatible with php 8
- you change your server to one that lets you put the version of php you want

Hey man! Thnx for your reply. I am really a beginner, but with update the version u mean I install the newest prestashop and rewrite all the files on my FTP?

You'd need to access the backend to use 1-click Upgrade module. If you're using cpanel it may be possible for your service provider to install php manager which allows you to choose the version of php you want.
