Very slow initial load. Prestashop 8.0.4

I set up a prestashop 8.0.4 on Ionos shared hosting. 

When accessing the store after an hour or so without anybody entering (frequent since the page its not yet referenced/linked anywhere) it takes over 30 seconds to load, after which pages load relatively well ~1sec. There is any solution to this?

This problem looks like a cache module. Is there something like this in your eshop? Can you give us a screenshot of the performance settings page?

As far as i know there is no such  module installed.

 

For performance settings: multiserver synctronization does not seem to make any difference

And the cache settings at the bottom, enabling it shows diferent options that show a forbiden mouse icon when hovering over them.  Server has no cache modules installed?

Hi.

With shared hosting, it is usually the case that they use their own cache system. Ask them for support. Alternatively, there is also an option to display a page loading statement. Just enable v ./config/defines.inc.php
