Migration from 1.7.1.2 to 1.7.8.9

Hi

On a old 1.7.1.2 site I wanted to use the 1 click upgrade module to update to 1.7.8.9 but there are two blocking factors I can't understand:

* Your current PHP version isn't compatible with your PrestaShop version.

 * It's not possible to create a PHP session.

 

the current PHP version is 7.1.33 so I can't understand why the module claims it is not compatible. All the prestashop 1.7.x versions work with PHP 7.1.x

If I can't bypass these errors, is there another way to update this site please?

Before upgrade change PHP to 7.4 ( as it for 1.7.8.9 PHP 7.4 is recommended )

yes but even 1.7.8.9 should work with PHP 7.1 as your graph shows it
