[SOLVED] Minimum purchase total option not working

In the Back Office under Preferences/Products I have set a $10 amount in the "Minimum purchase total required in order to validate order" field.

It does not work for me!

No matter how little I put in the basket, it still allows me to check out and pay!

Any ideas?

which version of PrestaShop are you using?
I just checked both 1.3.7 and 1.4.1 are working properly.

I"m using PrestaShop 1.4.

I upgraded from previous version, but never checked if that option worked in the previous version.

Just in case, I set the same min amount at $10. tries it again, it works fine.
not sure, maybe your issue has something to do with upgrade.

i have experienced the same with the minimum amount not working after upgrading to version 1.4.7 from 1.4.6.

I have tried many times by even changing the amount but no limit warnings are present, if somebody experiences the same and finds a fix any help would be appreciated

I found the solution by disabling one step checkout, it works fine with 5 step checkout.
