[SOLVED] How to add a static image at the bottom of home page?

Hello!

I would like to add an image banner at the bottom of my home page for an upcoming event. I don´t need any fancy flash banner module, just a simple 1000px x 100px image at the bottom. No necessary show in products or any other place, just in the home page. I wonder if is just a case of put some code in the header.tpl or something like that.

Any suggestions?

Nothing that a try and error approach does n´t solve. Just added the image tag in the final of footer.tpl in my theme folder, just before </body>:

</body>

Hope it helps someone else.
