Server error 500 due to a syntax error

From a day to the next, i got an error on my website Prestashop 1.7.5.1,  

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '$html' (T_VARIABLE), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) in /home/bijougrasl/ideecad/classes/controller/FrontController.php on line 669

This is really corrupted code in a Prestashop core file. Check when this file was changed and ensure nobody did this manually. Only reason I can image is a hack/trojan attement if this was not done intentionally - in this case you need to scan and clean your full server. To get the shop back running replace this file with the original one from PS 1.7.5.1
