USB83
Hi, I had a shop a while ago that lasted for around three years. I suspended that activity so i shut that shop down since then. Now a friend that had similar activity offered that i take over his shop and carry on with it, so i would like to know if it is doable for me to export the customers from my old shop and import them into the new one (that has a few customers of its own). The shops are running on PS 1.6.1.24 Thanks.

The concern is the old customers may have customer id's that match your current shop and over write them. Consider import via phpmyamin, remove the customerid in the .csv and import to customers. back up table (export first) Of course customer passwords will no longer be valid. katicziv
Import also can be made with STORE MANAGER software. Before you need to create (export from old shop) customer.csv file. All accounts will work in new shop.
