JustJohn
So the story's breaking so far, but maybe someone has already encountered that and willing to offer advice. We have a massive database of products, more than 26000 items, some of them configurable, some are simple, most without images. They upload just fine, present in search and catalog pages and so on. The product count is also correct in admin. However after several hours something happens and when we look into products suddenly the count is reduced by about 10000. Still investigating whether there's a pattern to it, such as for example product list getting truncated at the end, or if it's random products that disappear... Any specific Prestashop-related advice on managing huge product databases? Or maybe it's a bug?
ps8modules
Hello. How are products updated? Through some Cron task? Products do not disappear by themselves. A large database of 26k products is not very large. I manage e-shops with ten times the amount including combinations.
JustJohn
Well, they're not being updated yet, they're only getting published once initially using cURL. And afterwards the problem occurs. During that time we're just mostly browsing the site, applying filters and such, modifying the templates, clearing cache. But not touching products at all. This has happened twice now, I'm keeping an eye on it to catch the third time if it happens. Can you share any links to live web stores with more than 26k products? I'm curious about the performance and the general layout/navigation to compare to our work.
