I dont get and receive emails

Hi,

 

I really need your help. I do not receive nor send emails from my new order, newsletter, and test email configuration. 

I use the recommended option and still do not receive email (also tested with different emails). I test SMTP and always have errors.

Furthermore, I also have an email alert and newsletter, neither of them are working. Even with my old version of PrestaShop which is 1.6 and now i migrated to 1.7 to think that will be the problem, but that is not the case.

* i have the same email on my Shop Setting → Contact → stores.

 

I hope somebody can help me.

I put

SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com

User: [email protected] 

Password: ***** / even tested with app generator password

Encryption: SSL

Port: 465

 

and have this error

Gmail has changed and won't accept non verified domains. Test your domains mailsettings, in shared server you need to get in touch with the staff. In VPS you need to adjust the dns mail settings accordingly. Or go to your cpanel and set up a mail for your domain and use that. Looks also better.

Hello,

 

I tried to change the domain name with the server of OVH, but I have the same problem.

I just found out that the password in SMTP saves another password. 

Do you know in which part of the back office can I modify the password in my back-office?
