Moving web hosts, backup help.

Hiya, any advice or help is really appreciated please. 

I will soon be moving web hosts from Just Host to Plesk. I want to know how I can properly backup my Prestashop store in case something was to go wrong, so that everything on my store is preserved. 

I have read previous posts about doing backups but a lot of jargon is used that I don't really understand (I am very new to this).

If anyone could help guide me through this process in the most simple way possible I would truly be grateful.

If you can compress the folder public_html, www or httpdoc the folder where your root files are and download it. Than you need the Database. In your Prestashop instalation there is a config.inc, parameter.php file showing the correct Database, in case there are many in phpmyadmin.
