WendyA
Hi, just wondering if I can successfully update an installed module (Prestashop 1.6.124) to it's updated version of 1.7.0 would it work without hitches? Thanks
ps8modules
Hi, each module has information about compatibility with the Prestashop version. Older modules use scripting for older versions of php. I can't give an exact answer because it may or may not work. The question is too general, there is no information about the module, such as the name, if it was made to order, or if it was bought somewhere, etc.

Thanks Hello It depends whether the module is compatible with Prestashop 1.6 or not. If module has developed according to updated Prestashop then it will create issues in older version. Hi, Modules designed for version 1.6 will not be compatible with version 1.7 without significant modifications to the code. In many cases, it may be easier and more efficient to purchase a new module that is designed for version 1.7, rather than trying to modify an existing module.
