Error updating from 1.7.2. to 1.7.8.

Hi everyone,

I have tried to update a prestashop from 1.7.2 to 1.7.8 4 times.

 

The first and the second time I did it using the module 1 click update and I had this error:

Failed to start the session because headers have already been sent by "/homepages/16/d868063837/htdocs/public_html/website/override/classes/Link.php" at line 245.

I have checked that document and I see it is related to a module named ps it clean urls, I deactivated, activated it again and also reseted it.

 

The third and fourth time I did update it manually and I had this error:

Error reading XML: root element not found. Ubication: mywebsite.com/install/upgrade/upgrade.php on line 221

(1/1) ContextErrorException

Php version is 7.4.

 

I would really appreciate any clue or any recommendation to solve any of these situations.

There is an override installed that might persists even when the module is deavtivated. Rename this file to _old and try again with 1-click.upgrade, it's the safest method
