Stylish category tab on homepage module not working correct

Recommended Posts

hello to prestashop community ... i had bought a theme called garage v2.0 2 years ago but due to lack of free time i installed it this year ..anyway ..the problem is that it contains a module called stylish category tab on homepage , which is something like the default "features products on homepage" .

So when i enable it it looks to work ok like this https://prnt.sc/Re7HnIVF8uXN ... when i refresh my homepage or when i get back to homepage from another page the module is messed up  (the  slider dissapears , the stylish product module shows 4 , not 5 , products per line and the menu also is messed up ) like this  https://prnt.sc/CuTBoged1tO- and this https://prnt.sc/0QpmCSx10iBo . the same happens to the default fetaured products module on homepage .... i cannot understand what is wrong with what and i have got no answer from the developer no matter i paid for subscription for the 2 years that i had not used the theme + for 2023 , but really no answer ....

anybody that could help i would appreciate

thanks

Well, what I see is that what happens to you has a solution.
but if you just start your project, I think you're starting badly.
The theme you use has not been updated since 2016. Your php and prestashop are quite outdated and this can cause you problems in the short term.
My recommendation is that you try to update that prestashop to PS 1.7 and forget about that theme (if you have problems updating, it's better to do it from scratch)
and I recommend that you get a good theme for example panda, they are always updated, and you can make all the changes you consider, generally in a very easy way

yes my friend i know .. this i try to avoid ... i try to keep that theme at least for this year and update to 1.6.1.24 and php 7.1 .

i have made a lot of work on pictures etc for that theme so i would like to keep it at least for 2023

next year maybe ok for update to 1.7 and new theme ... but the question is why the company you pay for subsciption do not support me

for such simple issues?

anyway thanks
