Trovaweb
Hi, i encountered an issue on catalog search in backoffice. No matter which search you make, all products are returned to me as a search result (see attachment). I also noticed that if I go to see the SQL Query that is processed on the basis of the search, it is not modified by entering the search key used. Spirit45
Hello, Did you solve the problem and if so how? I have the exact same issue and I can't find a solution to fix it. Many thanks.
libreriasemola
hallo Trovaweb and Spirit45. I am experiencing the same problem in the backoffice catalogue search. I run prestashop 1.7.7.4 Filters by category do work, while anny text typed inn the fields ID, NAME, REFERENCE, CATEGORY, PRICE does not affect results: all products are shown. Did you find a solution to this? thank you

libreriasemola
hi Spirit45, my issue was very simple. there was a filter set in the category filters. please see picture. I used a different employee to login, and all products were displayed. So the issue was not on the database but in the back office settings. maybe this hint may help you. thank you Corrado
Spirit45
Thank you very much for your feedback libreriasemola. Unfortunately the problem is not the same for me. No categories are selected in the category filters list. When I type text in the product name search field (at the top of the name column) the searched text is not taken into account and all products are returned in the table. When I export the query the searched text does not appear in the where condition. So the problem is still not resolved for me but thank you for your help.
