Hello everyone ,

i've been trying to find an answer by reading the forum and while i saw other people with similar problems i couldn't find a solution!

Basically when i write to my customers from prestashop dashboard the email is sent to SPAM !

I've set SMTP server from my domain .. and when i send email outside of prestahop with the same smtp server everything is ok!

If anyone has any idea what i could try to fix would be great !

I'm using prestashop standard theme, thank you !

Hello, I have never faced a problem like the one you mention, surely it has a solution,
I only leave an informative fact and it is that apparently this problem was solved in prestashop 8

thank you for your reply, now obviously i have another doubt ahah !

Well right now my prestashop version  is 1.7.8.7

updating to that version will mess up somehow my actual web?

there are things to be aware of ?

i know.. pretty noob question but that's what i'm LOl ! thank you 🙂

is the customer receiving in gmail or other email domain?

If I were you, I would try to simulate the following:
using gmail and other email account (e.g. [email protected] and [email protected]), send 3 type of emails :
- testing email (Subject : test ; Body : this is body email)
- email from back office dashboard <-- this is specific to test your case
- email on order confirmation or registration or test send from back office (there is a button to click and it would send test email)

All using the same smtp as the shop and gmail smtp

The result might shed some light, hopefully
Maybe there is a better idea to test?

i tried again and over gmail ( test email) it goes in INBOX ... but there is a yellow box asking me " do you want to report it as spam? "

while in another email is sent to spam

google is a large company,so they can identify any email is spam,

Google is rather taking newly served Emails as SPAM or unsolicited mails. It does not cost them a penny doing so. It forces people to use conventional Mail services contrary to their quality credo. Being a large company is not positiv for upcoming sales sites.
