Caption under image? Please tell me there's an easy way!

On prestashop 1.6 you had the caption (legend) under the image.

And that made sense. And it was good. And everyone was happy.

 

Now on PS 1.7 under the image you have the short description.

Again. As it wasn't enough to read the short desc on the product page.

 

Now, please tell me there's a way to revert to the previous, logical behaviour, with captions under images, as it should be.

 

I'm using this software since 2008 and there's a series of changes in 1.7 that really don't make any sense.

You can't tell me that captions are now only used to populate the image alt and title tag. Captions are captions!
