General multistore update work flow in 1.7

Hi,

I use multistore, 3 stores with same products, but different products descriptions, SEO and so on. Prices are the same.

1.6 was a breeze to work with. I could work in "all shops"-view sometimes, enable checkbox of what I wanted to update in all stores and just update it.

1.7 is a puzzle. Basically no checkboxes to enable in "all shops"-view. If I save something this view, it overwrites everything in all three shops. So in order to change price in all three shops, even if the price is the same, I have to go into every shop and change it - 3 times.

Is it right, or I'm I missing something in 1.7 that make it more similar to 1.6?

Anybody knows how to update prices in all stores at the same time, without overwriting all other info and without having to go into every shop and make same changes in every shop individually?
