issues with creating sub categories and products displaying in them.

Hi everyone,

I have successfully created a category but I have tried to make a sub category in that category but I am not having any luck, the sub cat that i want is appearing as a seperate cat and when i create a product I am unable to add it to a cat it only allows me the option of adding it to the home page. I hope someone can help with this as I have been stuck with this for some time

The solution was offered by shokinro

Are you sure you have input each language for your product in Catalog?
There is a language icon (flag) for those fields has multiple language support. Click the language icon to choose different language then input the selected language for name, description and so on.

thanks for the help but in the end I had to re-install and then rather than deleting all the cat, sub cat and products I just changed the fields and then created new cat, sub cat and products and that has worked fine
