upgrade language id does not match previous version...

Original ps 1.7.8.6 with language as follows:

id 1 deleted
id 2 english
id 3 french.

Ps 1.7.8.8 on a test server with default languages
id 1 english
id 2 french ca
id 3 french

when I go to bo- translation-copy and try to overwrite, i get a impossible to copy files /translation/en/admin.php etc and the files do not exist.. the zip files are present.

Need a way to either change database entry for every products, customers, revies etc or overwrite one language by the other.
