janeklass
Hi, The store is down for an unknown reason. Last night the store was working, now in the morning it is down and gives an error message error 500. We have not made any changes in the settings in admin and we have not made any changes in the server. What causes such a problem? How to solve? It seems that the problem was with the PHP version of the server. The server manager updated the default version of PHP this evening. My site is running on PHP 7.4, but the new server version is 8.1. I was able to go back to 7.4, it won't get security updates anymore. How dangerous is it? Should I upgrade my page to 8.1?
JBW
Only new Prestashop 8.0 support PHP8, so rather stay on 7.4 until PS8 becomes stable - never upgrade on a live shop, test your theme and modules on a test instance first
