Ritter
I am concerned that the calculating VAT for B2B customers in PS 8 will not work. Despite registration as a corporate customer including VAT ID, VAT will be charged, but in Europe this must be free for VAT. The entries in the VAT ID under data/customer and address/customer also do not match. The prefix “DE”, which is absolutely necessary, is missing under “Customer”. Under "Address" the VAT ID with a prefix is entered in the "SIRET" field (only for France), field and prefix are incorrect. joseantgv
I'm not sure if I have understood you, but could you try this module?
Ritter
I'm testing the module. But I assume that if there is a B2B option in Prestashop it should work without any third-party modules.
Ritter
After research I was able to determine that the "b2b" option only unlocks a few additional information fields, but has no effect on the tax calculation in goods traffic between 2 companies. The "b2b" option does not meet the requirements for online trading between companies in Europe! The German translation of "DNI" in "Personalausweis-Nr. oder Ust-IdentNr. dieser Person"* is also nonsense. The identity card is a proof of identity for german citizen, the VAT ID an indication that the company participates in EU trade in goods and services. Mixing the two terms in the same area is confusing and wrong. The correct designation for "DNI" in this area is only VAT ID. In order to operate Prestashop properly in b2b mode, an additional module is required that recognizes the intra-European VAT exemption between companies and processes accordingly. * Number identity card or VAT-ID of the person
