Adjusting Module to Existing Hook

Hello. I have a little problem and i have hope someone can guide me what to do. Im trying to adjust module (Blog Posts) to existing hook. However when im trying to set position of module, it have only few hooks (4) to pick. How can i add module to existing hook so it will appear on list ? I can add to it other modules but not one i need to add there.

Hello you need to write some code in the module, for example for left column:

public function hookDisplayLeftColumn()
   {
   some code of the function here     
   }
