Category column not showing on mobile

Hello,

I'm new to this cms and the employee that did this is not available.

I noticed that when visiting our website on mobile, the left column is hidden.

While checking the code, I noticed that the column is still there, but there's a "search filters mobile-modal" with display:none.

 

I figured that through JS the column is supposed to be hidden\shown thanks to a toggler.

Here's what custom.js is showing:

But there's no button to enable\disable anything in the front-end.

Is this a prestashop default feature? is there any module I should remove\configure?

Can somebody help me figure out what to do?

update: it seems that the toggler button it's called Filter, and it only shows when filters are activated in the faceted search. 

Is there a way to show that button even when there are no filters? I just want to give mobile users the option to select a different category.
