No invoice in order details

Hello everyone

In an attempt no prevent invoices from being sent to clients I disabled invoices for all statuses. My problem is that since I re-enabled them, no invoice is being created for any orders. If I look at orders from a few weeks ago, I do have the invoice in document but still the (no invoice). On the recent orders I don't even have the invoice in documents. I am using PS 1.6.1.0.

If someone has an idea on how to solve this issue, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.
