Tintarella
Hi.Im adding a product called "candles". The product is a simple white candle butI have it in different packages. For example one package is a white candle and a lighter, another package is two candles etc..Do I have to add new product for every unique package despite the fact that it is the samebase product, or can I add a new category to "attributes" so that I can get something like "colors" but instead "Packages"...do you get what I mean? Tintarella
And most importantly..When I click "Attributes and groups" I just get to a blank white page, and that smells wrong! What do I do? Upgrade to 1.1 and hope for the best?

Dave Egerton
I would help it I couldbut, yes I think you would have to create separate product bundles to give you the full flexibility you likely need or it might get messy, if you sell base product have that is your product page and then you could modify your page to say "Bundle options" under main product and then use accessories for these related products to indicate the bundles so user can click to that product etcThink styling the site like this may be better than re-coding a module, but depends on your experienceOK, if your on 1.1 there is no issue with attributes. As you say its likely a config issue i suspect. If you happy attributes are set up right (I assume you tired a simple new attribute set on a new product?) then double check all is installed, make sure the correct permissions are on all folders etc as per Wiki , GD is installed (if you have to, quickly install a default Prestashop install into a separate directory and check that works), as you eliminate everything you should get to issue hopefully. But as I say, its the best I can offer right nowWikiBTW: Attributes do not apply to categories I think, you create the attribute groups and attributes and then you can apply these as needed to the products
