I got these errors on my log. I googled a lot about it, but found different solutions. But, when i tried to look at the image, for example the img/p/6/9/1/3, there is no folder that called 3.

So that is the problem. Then i remembered that i once (few weeks ago) tried to regerenate images. But it failed many times. Also my hosting provider couldn't help me. The max exection time was already set for very long. But with 7000 products, it took to long and it failed.

That is why i think some images are missing (although, i didn't found missing images, but i haven't seen every product of the 7000 i think on front end).

How can i regerenate those images manually? Without using the BO?

Potential solution is to find a way to regenerate the images in chunks (e.g 500-1000 products max at a time) - maybe with a php script and cron entry.

If ther isn't folder 3 that means there is no base image so you cant regenerate thumbnails for this image. In thta case you must add this image manually or remowe this record from database and add again in BO.

In standard you can regenerate thumbnails in BO, if you reach max execution time all you have to do is refresh page and regenerate again until all images will be created. Ofcourse don't forget to switch option to not delet existing images, also in web you can find few free solution to regenerate images like https://github.com/meetjey/imageRegeneratorPrestashop or https://boutique.comonsoft.com/gb/free-prestashop-modules/27-regeneration-of-prestashop-images.html

Thank you, i will take a look at your solution.

But what you say isn't true, because all our 5000+ products has working images. The problem is, i don't know which products need to be removed/renewed manually

Update: i did run the imageRegeneratorPrestashop, and it says it was succesfull.

But i still get this errors:

I don't know if they mean that the 6272 is the product ID, but when i look at the product, front and back, the image is perfectly working.
This product was also ordered yesterday. The small BO image of this product worked perfect. The category image and the big image on frontend work perfect.

I have the same problème, Google bot search images who do not exist any more an this is slows down my website,

I have got hundreds of errors and no way to find out to witch product they belong .. with more than 6000 products online ...

it trun out there is no proble with your server config,

it will prevent from guest visit these folders ,

forbidden /www.mysite.fr/htdocs/img/p/3/8/3/1/4/5 

allow vist /www.mysite.fr/htdocs/img/p/3/8/3/1/4/5.xxx.jpg or other media files

 

usually this visitor is not normal ,he is a hacker maybe

No hackers. This error caused by big brain of PS developers  
What happens .... Google try access to deleted or changed image in your store and no success, because no image with ID...

For good reason, the presta should return a 404 code, because the image file is no more exists. But the smartest developers came up with a beep

in to img/.htaccess directory

To solve this issue just comment Require all denied directive
 

#Require all denied

and google will see 404 instead 403.

one more recommendation:
if you have access to virtualhost config, check directory directives. never follow the advice from PS docs like:

    <Directory /path/to/prestashop>
        # enable the .htaccess rewrites
        AllowOverride All
        Options +Indexes
        Require all granted

this is wrong way. Your config should be like:
 

    <Directory /path/to/prestashop>
        # enable the .htaccess rewrites
        Options FollowSymLinks
        AllowOverride All
        Require all granted

i was really surprised even because i checked on img folder and i have not any subfolder denominated pr ,

i really appreciate a a tips for this strange issue .... Prestashop version : 1.7.8.9 , php version 7.4

Check time when error is writes in log. If this cause at moment when you access to adminfolder, then this request initiated by some module or another script in your store.

Check the modules and  admin modules hooks. if you have phpmyadmin access? you can easy search for string '/home/rulmen.com/img/pr' in your DB, this maybe shows you module name or config value if stored in DB. If no success with DB, you can batch search by sting '/home/rulmen.com/img/pr',   or 'img/pr' in store files...

It is also possible that this request from some malware script in your files.

Dear Metacredo , thanks for your answer , i will now try to search the string directly in db and i hope that i will find solution in Db , because

as you wrote i really now think that i have a malware script , because i get another strange issue on shop despite work fine i chanched from php 7.4 to php 7.4 cgi

and i get internal error in backoffice only , in frontoffice work fine.

I found the img/pr in db on table ps_pagenotfound

Hi i now finished to do as follow:

Search  in the shop files , 0 traces , i try to search the string even in database , two traces found in ps_pagenotfound , obvioulsy already truncate

the mistery is that the log give me same problem.

Kindly ask if you could have a suggestion concern a malware script , and if you can suggest to me some tool.

Try to find request via browser dev tools. I use mozilla firefox. Press F12, click console tab, check XHR, Request, Error options are enabled. Then access BO. Inspect requests in console output.

at the moment i have solved in this mode:

Renamed img folder with default image folder prestashop and error do not appear anymore , but as you understand i m not happy because this it mean that i have not solved

the issue so i would understand what is the real problem and i will try your solution with original folder Img , as i have to discover why shop give internal error in backoffice

with php 7.4 cgi (not with normal php) , i mean only in backoffice despite i renamed even var folder
