Hello, when I click on one the categories iin the home of my website a new tab opens and I don't want this happens.

It is a purchased template. This is a matter of some module that displays category blocks.
There is definitely a tpl file in the module and there are links to categories in it. In this file, you need to find the <a href tag that contains target="_blank".
Need to change to target="_self"

As above @4you.software said "_self" should work. Make sure to clear cache in VAR and browser cache.

I cleaned cache, if I click in the title works good but when I click in the image a new tab opens.

Hi,

currently if you modify the TPL in the module while it is overloaded in your theme, you are not working in the right file.

Look in your theme directory if this file is overloaded and make the modification there.
