Prestashop 8

Hello,

When trying to install the Prestashop 8 gives this error.

Anyone know what can it be?

error whilst "Create database tables".

A wild guess would be your server is running an old version of sql?  or possible php

You're not missing much at the moment anyhow. To me, it still looks identical to the current version of PS.

You should try and use it with PHP 7.4

Have you tried updating your sql ?
Im running:
MySQL version: 8.0.31
PHP version: 7.4.32

and the PS8 beta installs fine.

5.6 is the oldest version that is compatible.
PHP 8.1 is recommended so that should be fine.

Get the "System requirements tool" from this page https://devdocs.prestashop-project.org/8/basics/installation/system-requirements/

That gives you an indication as to what needs updating/enabling

With  MySQL 8.0.30, PHP 8.1 is the same problem.
