Prestashop v1.6.1.22 login issues

Hello,

I'm running a Prestashop v1.6.1.22 for a client, and there's a constant problem in the login.

1 - We keep being logged out from the backoffice

2 - When we try to log in there's a page refresh to the same login page, but no feedback message. in the url i've noticed a redirect from the original login page. the following slug is added:
/index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=[xxx]

3 - Cleaning cache doesn't solve this, not even in a private tab on the browser.

4 - I've been told it could be somekind of intermediate cache (between server and backoffice?)

5 - I've tried some trial and error tweaks in the Advanced Parameters, but no luck so far. A side topic regarding Smarty folder permissions as been created in
