php . what one to install?

Hi, first day with prestashop.

When installing, it said to use php 1.7, but one.com says its going to expire soon. what can I do?

Your server is running PHP 8.0.13, but PrestaShop requires PHP 7.4 or lower.
To install PrestaShop 1.7.8.7 you need to downgrade your server's PHP version.

I whant to use 1.8. Is there any version of prestashop for php 1.8?

Hi

and welcome to the forum. PHP 7.4 have security support for one more month. But I guess you can use it with no issues for some time, but with out support.

To use PHP you will need to wait full release of PrestaShop 8. Yeah lot of 7s and 8s   Yesterday RC was relesed https://build.prestashop-project.org/news/prestashop-8-0-rc1-release/ so bit more time to full release.

If you really want to start then do downgrade your server to PHP 7.4 and install latest PrestaShop 1.7.8.7 and  when  PrestaShop 8 comes out upgrade PrestaShop first then switch PHP to 8.1.
