The module analyzes previous purchases in your store's database using a data mining algorithm, offering your customers the most purchased products along with the current product in the form of product bundles. The customer can add all the products to the cart with a simple click!

Receive recommendations of interest to your customers

When a customer visits a product page, they will be offered an intelligent recommendation of the products that are most often bought together with the current product as a bundle of up to 3 products.

Easy and fast interface that adapts to customers

The customer can buy the whole bundle or remove any of the items through a quick and easy interface. Images and prices will change automatically according to your choices. If your store uses combinations, the customer will also be able to select the combinations of his choice for each product: stock, images and prices will change instantly for the chosen combination.

Version 1.3.0

• Performance improvements for products with combinations
• Added new feature: create manual recommendations for products.
• If your shop is very new or you want to create a personalized recommendation for a specific product, you can create a manual recommendation by choosing the products through a fast graphical interface.
• Create, modify or delete manual recommendations.
• Keep the manual recommendation for as long as you want, when you delete it, the algorithm will create a new automatic recommendation for the product.

How does it work?
1. In the "Manage frequently bought together" section, search for a product by name or reference and click the 'Create manual recommendation' button (Image 1)
2. The interface will be shown (image 2)

3. Click on select product. You will be shown all the products that meet the configuration conditions of the module. You can select it immediately or use the built-in instant search engine for it. At any time you can check the product in your store or in your back office (image 3 & 4)

4. Of course, you can modify your manual recommendation. Also if you delete it at any time, the algorithm will automatically try to find a recommendation for your product (image 5 & 6)
5. All changes are made via AJAX in a visual and fast way. Enjoy!

• You can now disable automatic recommendations for specific products. Only your manual recommendation will be displayed for that product.
• At any time you can reactivate automatic recommendations for the chosen product.
• Is your store very new and still has no sales? Do you want to control recommendations 100%? You may want to disable automatic algorithm recommendations on all products, that option now exists in settings.

Version 1.7.0 now available in PrestaShop Addons

Hello, I tell you what is new in this version:

1. Compatibility with PrestaShop 8

2. Access all the information about your store's recommendations quickly with the new management menu: products with automatic recommendations, recommendations with a discount applied, manual recommendations, etc... Managing your recommendations has never been so easy.

3. Choose the filter you want from the menu and view all the information of interest about the recommendations: products, confidence, relevance, type of recommendation, discounts... Do you want more details? Click on any recommendation and access the most complete information including sales history.

4. Now creating a manual recommendation for a product is faster. The product selection menu for manual recommendation offers better performance, loading only the information you need at any given time.

5. When you create a manual recommendation, the products that are part of the automatic recommendation (if any) are now pre-selected to make it easier to complete the recommendation.

6. In the module configuration menu you can now also choose the position of the module between 4 different options (PrestaShop 1.7 and PrestaShop 8 versions) including one that allows you to place the module anywhere you want on the product page, also available for PrestaShop 1.6.

7. There are so many changes in the module that we have implemented a new section on the front page "What's new?" with all the improvements included for easy viewing.

Version 1.8.7 now available in PrestaShop Addons

This version adds "lazy recommendations" functionality. When a customer accesses the product page, the module evaluates whether the algorithm requires creating a new recommendation or updating the existing one for the product. If not, show the recommendation immediately. Otherwise, it waits for the product page to fully load before asking the algorithm for the recommendation and showing it to the customer. In this way the customer can interact with the product page immediately even if the algorithm has to perform some calculations, improving the customer experience and speeding up the entire process.

With this update ends a whole series of changes aimed at improving the performance of the module to the maximum. Future updates will be aimed at adding new features.

1. This version includes a new feature: alerting the store administrator by email when any product included in a manual recommendation runs out of stock.

2. By choosing this option, manual recommendations will not be replaced by automatic recommendations by the algorithm in case of stock shortages of any product.

What is new in this version?

This version includes 2 new features:

1. The alternative automatic recommendations have been re-implemented, adding a new layer of complexity.

2. Now it's possible to exclude the products you want when the algorithm calculates automatic recommendations. These products will not be included in automatic recommendations or receive automatic recommendations. You will still be able to make manual recommendations with these products.

To do this, simply select them through a visual and user-friendly interface from the algorithm's configuration menu. Of course, you can also re-include products in the automatic recommendations that were previously excluded using the same interface.

Version 2.0.0 now available in PrestaShop Addons

What is new in this version?

This version includes 2 new features that have been highly requested by our customers:

1. Manual recommendations of up to 5 products - We have increased the number of products that can be part of a manual recommendation up to a maximum of 5 products. This way, you can create manual recommendations made up of 2, 3, 4 or 5 products. Automatic recommendations by the algorithm will continue to have a limit of 3 recommendations. Of course, you can apply discounts globally to all recommendations or individually for each bundle, as usual.

2. Background Algorithm - This new option in the module's configuration panel allows the algorithm to run autonomously in the background, consuming fewer server resources. It's usually not necessary, but please note that your server, especially shared servers, may have limitations on using this function. The module will determine if your server can use this feature.

1. Easily transform your global discounts for all recommendations into flash sales from the module settings. Simply activate the flash sale option and choose the start and end dates of the promotion. The flash sale will automatically activate and deactivate on the selected dates!

2. Moreover, you can create custom flash sales for specific recommendations in the "Manage frequently bought together" section. The discount will activate on the scheduled date and automatically expire when the time is up. Quick and simple!

3. We've revamped many menus in the recommendations management section to integrate this exciting flash sale functionality. This makes managing your discounts more enjoyable and straightforward.

Hello, how are you? I find myself forced to gradually increase the price of all modules to €89.99 excluding VAT, due to the new PrestaShop policy that requires me to pay an annual fee. Many modules to be profitable need to have more than 3 sales. I cannot assume this. Keep in mind that for that price you will have one year of major updates at no cost, as always. I will not increase the cost further, I understand that you may be disappointed and overwhelmed by this. But I can't do more. We are pleased to announce that version 2.2.0 of the "Frequently Bought Together" module is now available for download on PrestaShop Addons.

This version includes an exciting new feature that is practically a new module: bulk manual recommendations creation. And best of all, it’s free for all our Business Care customers!

How does it work?

1. Create bulk manual recommendations:
   Simply click the "Create Bulk Manual Recommendations" button and select the products to which the manual recommendation will apply.

2. Product selection:
   You can select products by brand and/or category and/or features. The selection is straightforward and includes various visual tools to facilitate the selection. You can even exclude products from the selection to adjust your preferences as much as possible.

3. Assigning recommendations:
   Once you are satisfied with the selected products, you can assign them a recommendation consisting of up to 4 additional products. The entire process is visual and easy.

4. Creating discounts (optional):
   You can create a discount for the manual recommendations you are about to create. You can choose between a percentage discount, a fixed amount discount, or free shipping.

5. Time-limited promotions:
   If you wish, you can turn the discount into a time-limited promotion (flash sale) by setting the start and end dates of the promotion.

6. Save and apply:
   Click save, and all recommendations will be automatically created with the selected values. Quick and easy!

Use Cases:

1. Winter Clothing Accessories:
   Select products in the "Coats and Jackets" category and assign them a recommendation consisting of a scarf, gloves, and a hat. Additionally, offer a 10% discount on the combined purchase of these accessories.

2. Sports Equipment:
   Select products in the "Bicycles" category from brand X and assign them a recommendation that includes a helmet, a repair kit, and a reusable water bottle. Apply a 15% discount on the purchase of these accessories.

3. Beauty Offers:
   Select products in the "Facial Care" category with the "Sensitive Skin" feature and assign them a recommendation that includes a facial cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. Offer free shipping during the month of August.

4. Electronic Products:
   Select products in the "Laptops" category and assign them a recommendation that includes a laptop backpack, a wireless mouse, and a mouse pad. Create a flash sale with a 20% discount for a week.

5. Pet Items:
   Select products in the "Dog Food" category and assign them a recommendation that includes a toy, a bowl, and a collar. Offer a 10% discount on the combined purchase of these pet items.

6. Home and Garden:
   Select products in the "Garden Furniture" category and assign them a recommendation that includes cushions, an umbrella, and a protective cover. Apply a fixed amount discount of €20 on the purchase of the accessories.

As you can see, this new feature offers multiple possibilities that can help you significantly increase your sales.
