How to add product reference to supply order form PDF [1.6.1.24] [SOLVED]

I want to have both supplier reference and our own shop reference on the supply order form PDF.

I am editing supply-order.product-tab.tpl,

tried to insert {$product.reference} but nothing shows. I am unsure whether there are other files I need to edit?

Any help appreciated!

So I figured it out all by myself, smarty tag should be {$supply_order_detail->reference} .
