In prestashop, I configured the SMTP settings for sending e-mails.

The problem is that the e-mail addresses in the contact tab and the e-mail address in the store must be identical to the SMTP username.

Otherwise, an error occurs

I would like to set a different e-mail address for contact in the store than the one assigned to SMTP.

Hi,

Some web hosting companies have settings for FROM address in the email. If FROM address is different then email sending does not work. I think you need to change the email FROM address in the code as this takes the store contact email address or webmaster email address.
