what is the Process to intget own theme in prestashop 1.4.1.0

Hello ,

I want to know what is the process to replace my own theme in prestashop 1.4.1.0.
I want my own layout and when i change the header or other file with my html i doesn't see any changes in it.
in prestashop 1.3 or 1.4.0.11 its work but in 1.4.1.0 or 1.4.0.17 it's not work.
can any one tell me what is the change in both new version and how to change layout.

I think it is cache problem.

either set force Smarty compile at Preference - Performance
or manually remove cache and compiled files at following folder

YourSiteRoot/tools/smarty/compile
YourSiteRoot/tools/smarty/cache
