[FREE MODULE] Custom Redirect of categories in prestashop

This module lets you define a mapping between categories like this:
22,55

12,15

67,153

Which simply redirects customers from first category to second category.

You need to add your category mapping into this file "categoryMap.csv"

Very good idea, since it does not involve touching the htaccess to put a redirect. I have tried to test it but it has not allowed me to install (Zip format error) and I have uploaded it by FTP and the Module Manager does not recognize it either.

You should change the name of the containing folder inside the downloaded zip to match the main file of the module
When you download from github, it adds the version at the end of folder and zip file name. You should remove it
For example:
"customredirector-1.0.0"
Must change to:
"customredirector"

What you say I did. The problem was that I uncompressed it and then recompressed it with the windows compressor. But then I compressed it with the 7zip and it worked perfectly.

I think it's an excellent module, and that it can be commercial since it doesn't affect the htaccess, especially if you have a multistore and multidomain.
