Roxayl
An issue occurred on our shop running 1.7.7.8, where pages take a very long time to load. For some reason, pages take approximately 130 seconds to load, and this performance issue affects both the front and back-office. The 130-second loading time is seemingly stable for each request, which may indicate that the site tries to run some task and waits for it to time-out (HTTP request ? Email sending ?) an Although, we do not have any solution for this issue yet. We also tried to disable modules that might be causing the issue. Is there any known solution to this problem, or maybe do you have any guidance to help us resolve this? But without domain name its hard to say whats wrong. Edited July 31, 2022 by Nickz (see edit history)
Zohaib-fk
There are many factors related to the speed of the website like database optimization, image optimization, web hosting limits, and some others that can be easily seen on speed testing websites. Roxayl
Just a little follow-up, the issue was caused by the Visual Composer (VC) module for PrestaShop. Some strings containing brackets are sometimes erroneously interpreted as short-tags. In our case, one of the content created on the module contained this specific string: [...] Which somehow caused VC to enter some sort of infinite loop when parsing the content. Thank you for your help in any case!
