google translate module stopped working correctly ??

I have a module that uses google translate. The language selection box used to say in English 'please select', but just noticed it now says 'Sélectionner une langue' with all the language names converted into French.

The site is GB lanuguage and the php code still lists the languages in English.

Somewhere in the last day or so this occured.

Any ideas how this can be corrected.

I have installed some VPN software. For some unkown reason, it reset itself to 'France'. I think maybe all the UK address's were taken, so it found the closest geolocation.
